Come Out
Tired of constipation and that bloated feeling? Want to minimize your risk of colorectal cancer, the second most common form of cancer death in western countries?
One tool, which has proven invaluable by MDs for people with bowel problems, even averting surgery, is Entero-lavage, otherwise known as Colonic Irrigation/ Hydrotherapy. A colon irrigation using the Gravitational Method is an internal bath that helps cleanse the colon of poisons, gas, and accumulated fecal matter. Unlike a home enema, it does not involve the retention of water. There is no discomfort, no internal pressure, just a steady gently flow in and out of the colon, of temperature-controlled water. At the same time, an abdominal massage is given to stimulate the colon to recover its natural shape, tone, and peristaltic wave action. The contents are expelled via a tube (no smell, no mess).
Come Down
Do you know that 60% of all disease is diet related?!
Reports from the Surgeon General and the National Academy of Sciences indicate that your choice of diet profoundly influences your long-term health prospects.
Clearly, we are what we eat and absorb, since ultimately we nourish our neuritic fluid, from which we derive thought, by our food. Very few people today, in this troubled world, realize the effect of their health and diet on their minds, characters, and their usefulness to society and their eternal destiny.
Proper diet is one of the eight natural principles to realize wholeness:
1) Proper diet (preferably vegetarian to speed the healing process)
2) Clean air
3) Pure soft water, hydrotherapy
4) Exercise
5) Natural remedies, sunshine, lymphatic rub, herbs, charcoal therapy
6) Rest and re-creation
7) Temperance
8) Trust in God
Nutritional and lifestyle changes may assist in the healing process of, at least, the following diagnoses:
- Allergies
- Angina
- Asthma
- Cancer
- Congestive Heart Failure
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
- Depression
- Diabetes
- Diverticulosis/-itis
- Esophagitis and/or Hiatal Hernia
- Gallbladder disease
- Gastro-intestinal distress/ Peptic ulcers
- Gout
- Heart disease
- Hypertension/ High Blood Pressure
- Hyperlipoproteinemias/ high cholesterol/ triglycerides
- Hypoglycemia
- Liver disorders
- Obesity
- Pancreatitis
- Pneumonia
- Stroke
- Renal disease/ Kidney disorders
Who can help you to make nutritional changes?? A registered dietitian!
What is a registered dietitian? A registered dietitian is a nutrition professional, and is your most credible, objective source of nutrition information. In addition, they are trained in the use of nutrition to prevent and control disease.
The initials R.D. indicate that the practitioner has completed an accredited four-year educational program, 900 hours of supervised practice, and passed a national exam. The initials M.S. indicate that the nutritionist has completed a Master of Science degree.
Is my visit to see a Registered Dietitian covered?
Medicare covers 80% of the cost for nutrition consults for diabetes and renal disease. Many insurance plans also cover visits to an RD.

Come Back
Contemporary massage therapy is developing within and outside of the American healthcare system. The practice of massage and bodywork is now considered a major component of complementary and integrated healthcare, as evidenced by government sponsored research and development. Even medical schools are incorporating complementary health education into their curriculum; and hospitals, medical clinics, pain clinics, and doctor’s offices are including massage therapy into their services for both patients and staff.
Most exciting is the fact that insurance companies are beginning to recognize massage as a legitimate treatment instead of a luxury that has no medical benefit. With the abundance of research to prove the benefits of massage, insurance companies are beginning to see that the low cost of massage may significantly reduce their overall costs. Massage may minimize or eliminate the need for pharmaceuticals, reduce the length of hospital stays, and reduce the number of physical therapy sessions a patient may need. Also, the side effects of massage do not usually require additional medical treatment!
The benefits of massage include, but are not limited to:
1) Improved circulation of blood and lymph,
2) Decreased pain sensation,
3) Induces relaxation response,
4) Decreased muscular tension,
5) Normalizes the activity of the nervous system,
6) Induces peristalsis for constipation,
7) Is beneficial to premature infants,
8) Fibromyalgia,
9) Asthma,
10) Diabetes,
11) Lower diastolic blood pressure
12) Enhances the immune system by increasing production of natural killer cells,
13) Fewer aches of arthritis, and,
14) Increases alertness and computational accuracy.
Massage will also provide relief for plantar fasciitis, sciatica, hamstring pulls, low back pain, headaches, and even PMS, to name a few.
We hope that you will prosper and be in good health! Help yourself to abundant health!
